10,000+ health professionals use RumbleTalk Group Chat during the psychotherapy event of the decade

The summit is hosted by The Weekend University. It is an annual gathering of 10,000+ mental health professionals, including 30 world-leading clinical psychologists like Janina Fisher, Steven Hayes, and Dan Siegel, where they share their secrets in holistic approaches to psychotherapy. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the summit was held online for the first time in 2021. And to facilitate group discussions and networking among online attendees, The Holistic Psychotherapy Summit used RumbleTalk Chat as its online group chat platform, alongside the live stream.

Subscribers during the summit week get full access to the whole event, including the live stream and the live chat.

The Problem: Bringing the same face-to-face event experience online

The summit organizers faced a challenge in replicating an in-person event’s lively and engaging atmosphere in a virtual setting. They wanted to ensure that attendees would have opportunities to network and engage in meaningful discussions, just as they would at a physical conference.

The Solution: RumbleTalk Group Chat with a designated administrator

group chat

RumbleTalk Chat was selected as the official online event chat platform for the summit due to its ability to provide a user-friendly and interactive experience for attendees.

With its simple and intuitive interface, attendees were able to join various discussion rooms and engage in real-time conversations with one another.

Here’s how RumbleTalk was utilized during the event:

  1. One main Group Chat accessible to all summit subscribers
  2. One chat admin to moderate the chat room

The Results: Around 5,000 attendees stayed connected and engaged during the summit

The use of RumbleTalk Chat was a huge success for The Holistic Psychotherapy Summit. Attendees were able to engage in lively and productive discussions, just as they would at a physical conference.

The chat platform also provided an easy and convenient way for around 5,000 attendees to connect with one another, regardless of their location.

Additionally, the summit organizers were able to monitor the chat rooms and ensure that the conversations were respectful and professional, in line with the standards of the summit.

Let your virtual audience attend in the comfort of their homes

RumbleTalk Chat proved to be a valuable tool for The Holistic Psychotherapy Summit in providing a seamless and engaging online experience for attendees. Its user-friendly interface and real-time discussion capabilities allowed attendees to connect and engage in meaningful discussions, just as they would at a physical conference.

See polls in a different light with new ways to show poll results

Do you love polls? We sure do! We’ve been looking into polls here at RumbleTalk. And, we think they’re a great way to get a sense of what people are thinking. But how do you display results? Well, we have three new ways to show poll results: word cloud, pie chart, and vertical chart/bar graph.

Each one offers a different method of displaying which party is winning by showing how many people on each side voted in each subsection of the poll question.

Visualize words in various colors and sizes

Word cloud is a visualization of word frequency. It is a way to visualize which words are most frequently used in a text, such as an article or blog post. This type of poll result can be used for many purposes, including analyzing social media posts and blog posts and spotting trends in language use.

Here’s how it works: you use polls to gather the answers of your audience. Then, each time someone selects an answer from the choices, it gets added to your word cloud! You’ll see at once which answers were most commonly chosen throughout the whole poll without having to go through every single answer individually.

This makes it easy for readers who might not be that interested in answering the poll but still want the answers to come up quickly.

Percentages in pies

Pie charts represent percentages. They are also known as bar graphs and pie-diagrams. In a pie chart, one part of the data is represented by an area divided into wedge-shaped sectors proportional to the size of that part. The total number is represented by the size of one sector, while each piece represents a fractional portion of it.

For example: If you have people in your chat room who responded to your question about whether they like conferences or discussions, you would use a pie chart like this:

Charts or bar graphs

A bar graph is a type of graphic that shows information in a vertical format. It can be used to display poll results as well. However, you have to make sure you’re using the correct tool for the job.

If you want your audience members’ eyes drawn right toward your bar graphs without having them distracted by extraneous elements like text labels or arrows pointing outwards from the center point of interest—which might happen if someone were looking at something else while checking out some polling data—then it’s best practice to use vertical charts such as this.

Three engaging ways to display poll results

  • Vertical chart/bar graph

What features does RumbleTalk offer that can assist event companies to reach their target audience?

Event companies have a lot on their plate, especially during a live event. The platform has various features that can help in hosting these kinds of events.

Private and public chat rooms

The platform offers private and public chat rooms, allowing attendees to interact with each other and the event organizers. The public chat rooms act as social chat rooms where the organizers and attendees can interact freely. If there’s a need for intimate discussions, both organizers and attendees can initiate a one-on-one private chat within the public chat room.

Polls and surveys

RumbleTalk allows event organizers to conduct polls and surveys in real-time. Gather feedback and measure the success of the event with these tools. After a poll, the audience can also send their honest feedback by typing it in the chat. Read this article on how you can gather feedback through the chat room.

File sharing and embedded video links

The platform allows for the sharing of important documents and images such as infographics, making it easy for event organizers to coordinate tasks and ensure that the event runs smoothly. Another practical feature is the embedding of videos. When organizers or audiences share a YouTube link in the chat room, it can be played directly in the chat. There’s no need to open a new tab. Therefore, this can help keep the audience’s attention.

Growing event companies with RumbleTalk group chat

By using these features of RumbleTalk, virtual event organizers can improve engagement, increase networking opportunities, and create efficient coordination. This can help to make virtual events more interactive and worthwhile.
