The days of lone traders are long gone. Today, it’s all about communities, connections, and communications. A group chat allows you to set up a community of traders chat room to help with this exact scenario. You can set up a trading team, a group of admins and moderators with experience in the field. The team would typically include analysts that specialize in day trading, swing trading, and more. This sort of chat is useful for traders of all skill levels that are looking to improve their trading and learn more about efficiency, options, ETFs, and futures. InTEXT Chat Keywords for Affiliate Content

The new RumbleTalk InTEXT keywords feature is a great way to improve and direct chats toward specific content, pages, or sites—especially affiliate content. The cutting-edge system identifies keywords in real-time and hyperlinks them to anywhere on the web. All the host or admin needs to do is define the keywords and links in the back-end once, then it’s all ready to go.

RumbleTalk keywords also work in private chats. There, defined words are automatically hyperlinked without interfering with the user’s privacy. This opens up lots of new ways to use your RumbleTalk chat. From educational purposes to interest groups, this feature is the perfect way to share resources quickly, effectively, and automatically.

Affiliate Content

One of the most popular ways to use it right now is with affiliate content. The keywords for the chat can be defined both before and during the chat’s active period. It’s easy to prepare a few links for topics likely to come up, and the admin or host can also add new ones or change the links throughout.

It’s the perfect way to unobtrusively and effectively place affiliate content. The keywords are highlighted and visibly hyperlinked without interrupting the conversation with annoying ads. In addition to general chats on a website, this feature also greatly enhances chats centered around an event.

Example of intext keywords for affiliates

The links created and defined prior to (or during) the event will then lead participants to affiliate or other content. This helps with selling products. And a great example would be reference material. In a video event, books mentioned could be set up with affiliate links. Then, when a chat user asks or mentions one of them, they will receive an immediate link to it.

This works with any product, and it helps direct the flow of the conversation to where you want it to go. At the same time, it promotes sales and content. Especially in chats where a few specific topics are the main focus of conversation, this feature shines.

Alternate Uses

InTEXT chat keywords can also be used in general chats. With saved and reusable keywords, an admin or host only has to define them once to be able to use them again and again. You can buy additional keywords on the spot so that there’s always enough available. It’s a great opportunity to promote products, services, and affiliate content in a subtle yet powerful way. Best yet, you can promote it without either click-bait or be interrupting ads.

Another great way to use the power of this tool is to set up a list of keywords for a community chat. After the initial setup, the keywords functionality does not need supervision or outside input. It simply functions in a dedicated chat room. In combination with spam filters, a chat can run unsupervised and maintain its effectiveness this way. This means minimal effort, with maximum impact and success.

Of course, the use of this is not limited to affiliate content. You can use it for informational link placing too, or a combination of both. The mix is completely up to the admin or host, without negatively impacting user experience. It’s also ideal for those with more than one chat room, as the keywords feature runs on its own after being set up. This means less time spent on promoting affiliate content and more time for other important things.

With this feature, RumbleTalk streamlines the affiliate promotion process along with a sleek and effective chat feature. No doubt it gives any virtual event, webinar, or regular chat that all important edge over the competition.

3 Ways to Better Control a Group Chat Discussion

Any group chat discussion should have various tools to control the discussion. Let’s try to explain the ways to control this discussion by giving a live example.

A psychologist (therapist) named Dana who is heavily using the RumbleTalk chat room platform, has created over than 100 chat rooms. In addition, she is part of our Beta group which means she can get all of our new features first prior any official release.

The group chat discussion

When we started, Dana was using the group chat discussion for supporting a woman after giving birth. She seems to be always in the chat, sometimes she spends 18 hours a day in the chat. As time passed, she created more support groups chats for various subjects.

Dana is using the chat platform to support large groups discussions but lately, she started to use also the option to call directly from the chat and talk verbally with users (audio calls).

Live video or in this case Audio calls are being performed from the one on one private chat option.

Now, she is running always into challenges that most group discussions owners are facing. Here are the 3 ways to handle the most common challenges as administrator (moderator).

Admin Only Feature

Dana’s chat is set to allow all users to upload files and images.
Now, normally this is fine, but there are occasions when Dana wish to be the only one to upload presentations and documents. She wants the focus and the attention of the group.

In that case, Dana is going to the admin panel and allow only ADMIN’s to share files (Chat settings -> Multimedia tab). This will result in hiding the attached icon on the bottom right for all users but the admin.

Dana is also able to allow “only admins” (her mostly) to use voice calls or video calls.
This will prevent users from talking to each other in case Dana need to get their full attention.

Ban or disconnect Users

Dana experience from time to time  (like most chat owners) the need to deal with trolls or just users that misbehave. We help her by allowing 3 levels of control.

Block User – Ignore private messages from a certain user, this is good if someone is bugging her with messages. Note, the bugging user will not see that she blocked him and will think she ignores him. This option is available to any chatter.

Disconnect User – If a user is misbehaving, Dane may disconnect him as a warning.
This is only available for admin (moderator) of the chat.

Ban User by IP – You can block a user IP (his computer address) from connecting to the chat.
Banning a user is only available for admin (moderator) of the chat. Un-Banning a user can be done from the admin panel in the BAN-IP section.

Force All to Logout

Dana always places an OFFLINE message when she finishes her group discussion session. Now, this offline message will result in disconnecting all users from the chat. Therefore, Dana is using it from time to time to disconnect all users, then she is able to change settings and only when she is ready, she let all in,  after she releases the offline mode.

Offline ON/OFF is done from the admin panel, in the settings section, in the offline tab.
