New Feature: Add your own group chat Selfie

Group chat interaction is making the world small. A lot of time during a group discussion, it is hard to imagine how a chatter looks like. Now you do not need to, you may put a face to a virtual name.

News: We are happy to announce a new feature that let chatter add their own selfie using their pc camera. The process is pretty easy (see below). Note, you will need to have a camera connected to your PC or laptop (at the moment this option is not available in the mobile version of RumbleTalk).

Step 1 : Login

Login to the chat room by clicking the text area. Choose to login type
Guest, Facebook, Twitter or Your own custom logins. Only once you are logged-in, you can see the small paper click icon.

Step 2 : Click on the paper click icon

Clicking on the icon will open a small window with several options.

Step 3 : Click on the Camera icon

Click on the camera icon. You will need to approve the usage your pc camera.
This is a common browser request when an application wishes to use your camera.

Step 4 : Choose the best group chat selfie and upload.

Take a group chat selfie until you are happy with the results and then upload it to the chat room. It then takes seconds and the group chat selfie will show and shared with all the chatters in the chat room.

We continue to add features to our group chat room service so your discussions with your community will be extra valuable.

New Feature: Control the type of sounds in your chat room

It is time to share with you that the new sound notification feature is ready for all premium customers. Now, you can control what type of sound will be played in different situations.

Some of you prefer that, when a new user will login to the chat room, a different type of sound will be played than when he/she send a message.

Some wish that a private message will have a unique sound and some wish that, when a user leaves, a unique sound will be played.

In the list below, you will learn what type of sounds you can control via the RumbleTalk chat room admin panel.

  • Message – A sound of a text/audio or video message.
  • Private message – When a user sends a personal message to another member in the chat room.
  • Notice – System messages sound.
  • Users Join – When a user enters the chat room, a special sound will be played.
  • User Left – When a user leaves the chat room, a special sound will be played.
